THE SILVER PACKAGE - just what you need...and a little more.
FILMING: Includes the most important parts of the wedding. We film the entire ceremony with 2 cameras and the most important parts of the reception including:
Editing: The ceremony is shown in its entirely and edited between 2 cameras. The events of the reception are filmed in their entirety with minimal editing and no music or effects. We close the video with a beautiful ending montage in black and white and slow motion, set to music. We will put this ending montage online upon request, to share with your friends and family, at no extra charge.

THE GOLD PACKAGE - Our most popular choice. A stunning package at an unbeatable price.
FILMING: The gold package begins when you want us there. It includes 2 camera pre ceremony coverage with one camera focused on the bride and the other on establishing shots and the groom. We film everything... the things that you miss and are surprised to see later.
We film the preceremony footage and an amazing little movie out of it. The ceremony is coverd with 2 cameras and wireless mics so that the vows are crisp and clear. We film the exrpressions, the excitement...everything you want to rememer. We film cocktail hour and photo shoots and set them to music with fun editing and effects. We capture all that is happening around the bride and groom, as well as the bride and groom. The first dance is slowed down and set to the "CD" version of the song so that it looks elegant and beautiful. We film and edit, the dancing so that it looks like there are cameras all over the floor, even when there is just 1.
When editing begins, we put up a short teaser video that you may share right away with your friends and famly. Then we put everything together in an amazing little movie and package it all on a DVD with customized menus and chapter markers.
EXTRAS: You may add the following extras to your GOLD package:
THE PLATINUM PACKAGE - Covers your entire wedding day, starting with makeup and hair, in detail, right though to the last dance and/or grand exit. It is filmed and edited with style and grace. We receive rave reviews with our Platinum Movies, every time.

What is the difference between an ending montage, a teaser, and a highlight?
Ending montage: Runs 1-2 minutes, no audio, set to 1 song, about 10-15 shots in slow motion and black & white.
Teaser video: Like a trailer to your own wedding movie. Detailed, fun editing...runs about1 minute, approx 5 great shots, set to 1 song, with audio, effects and text. Put together as soon as we start working on the wedding...before the editing of the full length begins.
Highlight: Runs about 7-10 minutes... like a mini, condensed wedding video with a few different music selections, effects and audio. Great to put online.

Do you do guest interviews?
Yes, upon request
Do we have to talk to the camera?
No...unless you personally choose to. We do usually ask the bride and groom if they want to say a message into the camera before the ceremony begins...but only if it feels right. The rest of the wedding we take the "fly on the wall" approach.
Do you edit the ceremony?
Yes, but we don't cut it up or take any parts out. We film the ceremony in its entirety then edit it by switching back and forth between the 2 cameras. This is the same for each package.
Who films my wedding?
Usually Shena (the owner) and Jeff (her husband and business partner) will film the wedding together. There are other Platinum videographers who sometimes film, but either Jeff or Shena will also be there. Shena always does the editing.
Can I put my ending montage, teaser or highlight on FB?
Yes, and if you need help I will show you how to do it.
Can I have my videos online password protected so that only people I give the password to may view it?
Yes
Can I choose my own music selections?
Yes, often I ask for a list of 3 fast and 3 slow songs and incorporate them into the video.
How do I save my date?
A $500 deposit that goes towards the package of your choice, saves your date.
My photographer doesn't like videographers
We work very well with photographers and churches love us because we are respectful during the ceremony with minimal movement. Photographers often recommend us because they love our videos and because we are very easy and harmonious to work with on the wedding day.

One of my jr. bridesmaids has watched it three times! You perfectly captured all the great moments of the wedding. The music was perfect and we love all the effects, its really quite special.

Beautiful editing is all about arranging moving pictures so that they dance perfectly to music. I have danced and played music my whole life. So when I capture a wedding on film, I know how to move the film to music with grace, style and fun. My goal is to simply create a documentary for couples who want their love to be preserved and displayed in the most tasteful and perfect way.
I have been behind a camera since age 13, but it was not until my University of Florida days that I put it to good use and worked on a TV show about Gainesville local bands, artists and news. Then I worked full time, filming and editing the evening news for ABCs, WCJB, TV20. Here I learned fast how to film on the fly. This skill has proven useful while filming weddings, as each wedding is unique.
I moved to Marin County, San Rafael, California in 2000 to become a part of the team of cinematographers and editors of Thomas Hughes Video Productions... famous for producing wedding videos for celeb brides such as, Courtney Cox and Alicia Silverstone. By the end of my time at THVP filming from the city of San Francisco to the Napa Valley wineries, I was one of the top editors. So when I returned home to Florida, I was prepared to create my own company, Platinum Digital Video.
I, like many of the photographers I work with, enjoy complete creative control. My husband, Jeff and I film and edit all the weddings. I limit the number of weddings I take each year, to ensure without fail, my solid standards of top customer service and quality. Finally, I would like to thank all the wonderful couples I have worked with over the years for helping to make this simply a dream job come true.
